For specific technical requirements, notice of 10 working days must be given in advance for any additional technical equipment and services. Please include your preferred location and quantity of the equipment listed below and we will be pleased to offer a quotation.


DIMENSIONS AND SEATING 


The hall is flat floored, 1650 sqm, with carpeted Latex felt floor.


• The room height is 7 meters to the underside of the trussing.
• Loose seating and tabling can be arranged to the following recommended maximum 
capacities: -


o Theatre Style – 1806 (with 9.6m x 4.8 m stage).
o Classroom Style – 768 (with 9.6m x 4.8 m stage).
o Cabaret Style – 770 – on tables of 7 (with 9.6m x 4.8 m stage).


Other seating/dining layouts can be made available on request.


ACCESS


Level loading access to this room is via 2 x goods lifts to the Northwest Corner of the building with a 20m flat push to stage. 


STAGE
 
• A demountable stage
9.76m wide x 3.66m deep 0.6m high is set on the North wall.
• 2 lecterns. Top table for 6 people.


PROJECTION


• Data / Video Projector - 2 x Panasonic PT–RQ18KEJ HD16K projector. 
• 2 x Front Projection Screen 6.2m x 3.5m (16:9)
• 2x Laptops
• 1 x Apple iMac
• 1 x Comfort Monitor 
• 1 x Switcher & Preview Monitor (Analogue Way Pulse 4K)
• Cue light with built-in laser pointer

SOUND


(All speakers and amplifiers are d&b audiotechnik)
• Stage Left - 4 x Q1 Cabinets
• Stage Right - 4 x Q1 Cabinets
• Centre Stage - 2 x Q10
• Out-fill Speakers - 2 x Q7 Speakers
• Ceiling Truss Loudspeakers -3 x E12 Speakers
• Sub Bass - up 6 x Q Subs can be deployed at floor level
• 8 cabled microphones.
• 4 radio microphones (Handheld or Lavaliere Sennheiser EWD or similar). 
• DiGiCo Quantum 225 Digital mixing console 


• Supported by a rack consisting of:
o 1 x Pro CD Player
o 1 x Pro Hard Disk DVD Player / Audio Recorder


LIGHTING 


• 250 channel computerized stage lighting system. 
• 80 3kW dimmable circuits plus 40 non-dimmable circuits
• Control is via an Avolites Tiger Tough 2 & Wing.


Luminaires
• 12 x 1.2kw Rama Fresnels for stage wash.
• 6 x Zoom Profile ETC Source 4 for stage wash.
• 30 x Astera AX9 Power Par - These are used to light the truss sails with a coloured wash.
• There is a generic room wash providing a tungsten wash which is DMX controlled. 
• Addition of corporate Gobos and use of moving lights can be arranged at an additional cost.


All lighting designs need to be agreed with The CCD.


Power


13-amp sockets are available in the walls up to a maximum overall load of 32amps.

Larger supplies are available by quotation.


Where extra-to-package equipment is sourced through the venue, the associated power charges will be waived.


Performance Communications


• There is a Clear-Com 2 channel main station with 10 hard wired units.


ADDITIONAL FACILITIES


• A Sennheiser Infra-Red System is installed for the hearing impaired. There are a limited 
number of listening devices and requirements need to be advised in advance. 
• Wireless Internet Access on the CCD guest service – (Wired Internet Access or a supported network can be arranged by request, at an additional cost)

STAFFING 


The package allows for up to 3 technicians depending on the requirements. The venue will determine the optimum number of staff required. 


CCD Technical Staff work a 9-hour shift, including one hour for lunch between the hours of 07:00 – 21:00. Additional hours or times outside of 0700 – 2100 are charged per technician per hour. All CCD technical staff are permitted to work a maximum of a 12-hour day. Technical personnel must have 11 hours off-site between the end of one day and the start of the following. Please bear this in mind when planning crew call times.


To ensure that The CCD can meet your requirements, all staff and equipment requests that are outside of your package must be confirmed in writing 10 working days prior to the start of tenancy.
