Service Overview

The CCD is equipped with a new, high-performance wired and wireless network offering full Wi-Fi coverage throughout the venue.

Public WIFI (IMPORTANT)

The CCD provides a public Wi-Fi network for informal and non-critical use. This is open, unsecured and available to all visitors. This service offers shared 30Mbps bandwidth, so not suitable for delivery of an event. For more secure and customisable Wi-Fi, our ICT team will be happy to help.

Event WIFI & Wired Networks 

We can provide up to 9Gbps of dedicated bandwidth for your event. Wired and wireless options are available. Networks are fully customisable, including branded SSIDs and segmented access for delegates, exhibitors, or production. Our ICT team will help you choose the setup that supports your event in the best way.

Technical information

The CCD operates a fully upgraded Wi-Fi 6 network, deployed across 200+ access points covering 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands. Connectivity is delivered through 10 comms rooms, supporting over 2,000 wired ports.

The building is serviced by dual internet providers with redundant 9Gbps uplinks, including roof-mounted radio links for additional failover. Event networks are custom-built, with dedicated VLANs, private SSIDs, and options for wired, wireless, or hybrid deployments.

Security is enforced through 802.1X and MAC authentication, firewall-protected internet access, and Aruba Central policy management, while all infrastructure is monitored 24/7 by The CCD’s in-house ICT team.

This will be done as a quote. The pricing will be based on their specific requirements.
