OVERVIEW


• Stage and dance floor
• Basic lighting stage wash
• Switched microphone on a stand for announcements


Please note that 10 working days’ notice must be given in writing for specific technical requirements. This should include an indication of the location and quantity of the equipment listed below. If additional equipment and services are required, The CCD will be pleased to offer a quotation.


1.DIMENSIONS AND SEATING

 

The hall is flat floored, 743.88 sqm (626.34sqm with catering pass) with carpeted Latex felt floor. N.B. If AV is required, this room should not be sold without the catering corridor as the screen and sound system are in fixed positions


• Ceiling height is 7 metres to underneath of trussing.
• Seating/ dining layouts can be made available on request

2. STAGE


• Flexible stage system 7.32m wide x 3.66m deep x 0.6m high.
• 2 x sets of treads for stage access


There is no safety curtain. 


Removal of the Stage to increase the capacity of the hall can be arranged by quotation.
A
12m x 6m dance floor is included in package.


3. ACCESS


• Level loading access to this room is via 2 goods lifts to the Northwest Corner of the building.
• Access to stage via loading door is flat floor 20m push


4. LIGHTING


House lighting: Discharge lighting for general use.
Production Lighting: Lighting providing general coverage (of the room only) is fitted in the hall 


Larger Lighting rigs for stage or Dance floor are available by quotation.


Computerised Lighting:
Fixed Ceiling Wash-light x 12 Astera AX9 Power Par
The above create a ceiling wash that can be altered in terms of colour scheme.


Addition of corporate Gobos or use of moving lights for stage and/or dance floor can be arranged at an additional cost.


All lighting designs need to be agreed with The CCD.


5. SOUND


A switched Microphone on a stand is available for speeches.


6. POWER SUPPLIES


Cable pass-through with fire stopping arrangements link all areas; any requirement to use them must be notified in advance.


13-amp sockets are available in the walls up to a maximum overall load of 32amps. Larger supplies are available by quotation. 


Where extra-to-package equipment is sourced through the venue, the associated power charges will be waived.


PLEASE NOTE THE ABOVE EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATION MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.


7. STAFFING


The CCD will determine the number of technical staff required based on the technical requirements. CCD Technical Staff work a 9-hour shift including one hour for lunch between the hours of 07:00 – 21:00. Additional hours or times outside of 0700 – 2100 are charged per technician per hour. All CCD technical staff are permitted to work a maximum 12-hour day. Technical personnel must have 11 hours off-site between the end of one day and the start of the following. Please bear this in mind when planning crew call times.


To ensure that The CCD can meet your requirements, all staff and equipment requests that are outside of your package must be confirmed in writing 10 working days prior to the start of tenancy.
